I posted this on the MD board and I thought it would be a good topic for WOTW.
As the year draws to a close, I find it helpful to review contests completed, assessments of how well execution went for contest prep. training and posing for each contest. How does this compare with last year's competition season and how any newly acquired knowledge or experience will be applied to the coming year. Being 60 and competing at 122 lbs., I find that attention to the smallest details goes a long way to present a better package on stage. ( I must admit that I am envious of successful bodybuilders who are able to put on pounds of lean muscle.) I also try to review pictures of the different contests.
So the dialogue is about what others may do as a self assessment at the end of the year. What do you evaluate? Do you use this as motivation to accomplish improvements for the coming year? What are your goals for the coming year?
