Ok, due to financial concerns I bowed out of the Raw Unity Meet. Yes I am bummed about it but it was a matter of priorities. So I have redirected my goals to the following:
Sunday -here are the goals of 2009 I might compete at a USPF meet at the end of febuary. I might use gear but I am uncertain. So I am toying with the idea. March 29th Monster meet I want to do the bench and deadlift and the 315 bench for reps. April 100% raw tri state in Martins ferry! This is what I am really training for as the others are simply milestones along the way to hitting an 1800 total! if I accompish the 1800, then I will take the rest of the year to prepare for the 2010 Raw unity meet.
day 1 of new sheiko 38 routine
Forgot how demanding a true sheiko routinely is! Also forgot how gratifying it is.
Bench 1x135x10 1x225x5 1x250x5 1x300x4 1x300x4 1x350x3 1x350x3 1x375x3 1x375x3 1x375x3 1x375x3 1x375x3
Squat 1x135x10 1x225x5 1x315x5 1x375x5 1x375x5 1x435x5 1x435x5 1x435x5 (ran out of gas, although all squats were very deep and controlled very fast on the way up. 435 felt much lighter then 375???)
Bench 1x225x6 1x275x6 1x275x6 1x315x6 1x315x6 1x315x6 1x315x6
done, very very gratifying workout took 2.5 hours and was awesome.

deadlift day
1x135x10 1x225x5 1x315x5 1x405x5 1x405x5-the weight was flying up, felt very light!! 1x500x5 1x500x5-again the weight felt very light! 1x555x3 1x600x2-wahoo! this felt good 1x650x1-bombed (too aggressive-need to stay disciplined instead of always going heavy)
Got some excellant advice. I am not keeping the bar cloes enough to my body! When I do "drag" it up my legs it feels so much lighter!!
bench 1x135x10 1x225x5 1x225+double purple bandsx3 1x225+double bands+chainsx3 1x225+double bands+chainsx3 1x225+double bands+chainsx3 1x225+double bands+chainsx3
good mornings 1x145x10 1x235x5 1x235x5 1x235x5
lat pulldowns 1x220x7 1x220x7 1x220x7
done workout 2.5 hours

You lift small cars for fun? w00t! there is actually some truth to that. I once got my pt cruiser (no laughing!) stuck in the snow. I was pinned between my drive ways curb and retaining wall. I was so mad I went behind the car, pushed down hard on the bumper, and lifted the car on the rebound and moved it over until it was straight!
