ugh, ugh, and double ugh. The SUnday accessory day killed my elbows. Its something I feel I need to do because only doing the 3 lifts all the times has begun to limit my range of motion. I feel like all I can do is bench deadlift and squat, everything else and the joints are just way too tight! Having said that I think I will be not doing the military presses anymore. My elbows and shoulders are killing me!
So Bench and squat day
Managed to complete the bench workout inspite of all the elbow and shoulder pain!
1x135x10 1x225x5 1x275x5 1x325x4 1x385x3 1x385x3 1x405x3 1x405x3 1x405x3 1x405x3-had a lot of trouble the first rep nearly stapled me, I really got out of my groove, but I recovered for the next 2 1x405x3-awesome felt great 3 blasted straight up!

speed bench 1x225x3 1x225x3 1x225x3 1x225x3 1x225x3 1x225x3 1x225x3 1x225x3 (30 second rest between sets)
Done, now its time to take ibuprofene and ets!!!!!!

Felt run down today, tired and sore, but decided to give it a shot anyway
Deadlift 1x135x10 1x225x10 1x375x5 1x425x5 1x425x5 1x500x3 1x500x3 1x500x3 1x500x3
I really had to push through it today. Weights felt really really heavy. 500 felt like 600!
Bench 1x135x10 1x225x5 1x315x5 1x405x3 1x455x3-reverse bands 1x495x3-reverse bands this felt good, the reverse bands obviously helps but by how much I don't know, but I will tell at about half way they are not helping. Plus at lock out you really feel the full weight. Its also easier on my joints.
Since I was feeling sooooo beat up I decided to call it a day.

Perhaps you've a bit of a cold/virus? Sometimes I feel it first in my joints, etc

I took Saturday off cause I really needed it. I also skipped Sunday's light work day too. Best decision I made. I feel great and today's workout was
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

I took a week off, joints were hurting and although my lifts were not suffering yet they felt as if they were on the down swing. Probably one of the best decisions I have made.

I train on a loosely based sheiko routine. I will soon be following it to the letter. I am trying to ramp up the volume. I have 10 week before my next full powerlifting meet and the goal is a 1800 total. Squat 670, Bench 460, deadlift 670.
A typical sheiko routine has you benching 3 times a week, squating 2 times a week and deadlifting once a week.
