IE Bikers?
And I mean guys who ride regularly, not guys who bought their HD's with their Gold Card.
Long time biker, gave it up along with so much other stuff to drink, now reached the income level when another bike would be good for commuting.
Prime Candidate is the Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter 850. Classic Indian styling with modern running gear and Kawa dependability. 855 Vee-Twin with enough oomph for road trips but light enough for city. Simple soft tail frame.
Sounds like a weener!

I have a 2002 Harley Heritage Springer and a 2003 Ninja 636. Have been riding since I was 12 years old and put about 10 to 12 thousand miles a year on.
Have rode my HD to various rallies and the most miles I put on was 700 in one day.
Plan on riding from Northern IL area to New Orleans on May 13th, can't wait.

Heritage Springer? SWEEEEETTTT.
Thats the first bike I road after I sobered up. Dallas had a rent- a- harley shop. I rented one, did the weekend certification course and cruised to Austin and back.
Only prob was it was black and white with a windshield like the old panhead hydra-glide Police, and everyone kept slowing down, thinking I was a cop LOL.
WAAAYYYY out of my price range for the moment.
Very first bike was a Husky mini off-road we'd tear around Colorado trails on.

I had a Yamaha V-Star 4 or 5 years ago and it was an excellent bike and closely resembles the HD Fatboy. One of my riding buds has a Kawasaki Vulcan and he loves it.
My bike is 2002 and I have close to 25,000 miles on it.
