So lately i've been getting alot of IMs from anonymous punks saying "you are a p*ssy", "you look like sh*t" blah blah blah. Doesn't bother me... in fact I kind of like the fact that people are so bothered or jealous of me that they take time out of their day to seek me out and try to insult me. But it's beginning to go too far. As I feared a while back someone might do, this guy IMs me and tells me he's going to email Isabel (my gf) and tell her a detailed story about how I've been cheating on her (which I would never do). Thank god I've prewarned her about something like this happening and she knows I would never think of cheating on her.

Then today I got a PM at bodybuildingforyou.com aikirush sent me a link to a thread where this guy is bashing me saying I took steroids and I'm lying about it, blah blah blah. So I PM him and ask him why he would make up a fabrication about me and he says "some little bird told me this info"

What the heck? What is with these cowards these days? If you got a problem with me... at least have the guts to take it up with me personally. I don't mind the insults... but when people question my honesty and start messing with my personal life... it really ticks me off. Especially about Isabel, she means more to me than anything in my life and the thought of someone trying to mess that up; well my hands are shaking as I type this thinking about it.

I would never even pretend to be able to tell you why some people think that other people are their business...In any case, since you've been dealing with this for so long, I trust that you are able to rise above it and take it for what it is...If Isabel is as wonderful as you make her sound (I have no doubt that she IS), then she will also know what you are versus what they say you are...If you stand alone, the group will hate you for it...just keep doing what you're doing

thanks everyone, and I absolutely agree with what you all have said. Insults don't bother me anymore... a year or two ago they might have hurt me... but I am much stronger now and much more confident in myself. However, when someone tries to accuse me of lying and especially someone trying to damage the relationship with the woman I love... that is over the line.

I know Isabel would never give a 2nd thought to any kind of email like that but the fact that someone would even think about trying just burns me up.

But even to the degree that you're being harrassed, it's waaaaaay over the line of anything acceptable. You've obviously dealt with it in fair stride.

I would have never PM'd that guy if I were you. Just ignore them, it's just the internet with a bunch of nerds talking smack with a keyboard and internet connection. Showing them interest only adds fuel to their fire. Then again, I wouldn't really care if some douche sent my girlfriend an e-mail, I would think it was funny. I'm kind of weird like that. ;D Then again, I've had some girlfriends who would have an aneurism if they got something like that. Pre-warn her about it and everything should be kosher.

I always wondered who you were when people would post stuff over at Mayhem about you. I think people dislike you because you know your stuff, lol. bobhedrick has a sig over at Mayhem that says something like, "If everyone likes you, you are doing something wrong." That's so true, so you must be doing something right. I would rather be a guy that speaks my mind and a lot of people dislike then some vanilla Clay Aiken pansy ass "follow-along" anyday.

haha thanks man and I do feel the same way. Honestly the insults do not bother me. A year or 2 ago, it would have bothered me. I remember last year there was a thread at mayhem that was like 8 pages of nothing but ripping on me. At first is was a tough pill to swallow, but over time I put it on my favorites... I would go back; read it, and smile a bit wider each time. Finally it occured to me that this was the biggest compliment I could ever get.

I know my girlfriend trusts me... I told her about it and she pretty much laughed it off. It's the fact that someone would even THINK about doing something like this burns me up.

From reading numerous message boards it still amazes me the length some guys will go to. I mean dudes weighing a buck fifty telling Jay or Dennis what type of training or diet they should be on, c'mon. I get to the point sometimes where I don't even read the major boards because of the azzclowns.

There are cyber-stalking laws in most states and as an example, if someone just annoys you in my state, Calif., it's covered under the law. It's considered harrassment. And harrassment is what this guy is doing to you.

You can go to Cyber-Stalking.net, look up the laws in your state and use that as leverage. Remind the idiot about the law and maybe it will stop.

Sorry to hear about this. The web has certainly opened up many avenues for people who are probably cowards in real life, to act like toughmen when typing away on a keyboard, without possibility or repercussion, from the privacy of their home.
