This has been something that has bugged me for quite sometime. Tim, apparently has had direct contact with the matter, and Shawn Perine from IA has as well. If this isn't the place for it Tim, then I respect your wishes to pull the thread, however I do want to see some people go "no holds barred" on a discussion topic regarding the issue- Robbie Robinson.

Can this guy get any more psychotic? Stealing money from peoples gym bags (and over at MM, I'm not sure if the post was serious or not, but he said he thought the bags {yes, bagS-plural} were his?!?!?!?!), selling these "juice weasals" and other various gimmicks.

But the one that takes the cake for me, is how he has tried to singlehandely take back every one of his photos that is out there on the internet. Shawn Perine, Tim, BB.com and others have all taken his photos down. Out of respect. I'm not sure I would have any respect for someone like Robbie at this point in his life.

He says he has been screwed by Weider and the magazines, but HE AGREED to have the photos taken then, and they are public domain now!!! Out of respect, many people do take them down, but I honestly do not see why. The guy truly sounds like an asshat and is just coming off even worse.

Worse yet, there is his crony (maybe there is more than one?) who searches sites all day, every day and rats people out who do post his photos. This guy, who I have had some PM's with, is truly bizarre and I think honestly needs mental help. I've seen his antics and they are only seemingly going downhill.

Robbie threatens legal action, when each and every person I've seen take the photos down, KNOW that legal action is not possible- unless the judge wants a good laugh.

The internet can be a great place. But cases like this make me wonder what lengths people will go to. I've had people that dated 16 year old girls while they themselves were 25, and he got mad at me when I called him a pedophile!!! I've had people tell me that there is an exact ratio that has been scientifically proven (maybe Layne can help find the research on that one) from a Uni in TX saying men prefer a 2.35312 difference in hip to waist measurements (this was JiuJitsu from GB about 3 years ago).

When will the absurdity stop? I think by people taking Robbie's pictures down, it only reinforces his mental illness and allows him to continue.

Anyone else want to chime in on this?
Oh, and "Hi Bix!!!!!!!" Tell your pal to sue me directly. I'd like- no LOVE to see that happen.

I also read Tims explanation over at MM and Robbys behavior seemed a bit strange to me also. I dont think I have any of his pics posted on my board but I may have to go find some just to try to tick them off.

I saved his e-mails for a laugh if I get bored, but I won`t post them here, as I am just done with this guy!

His "internet police" has lost him many a fan including myself!!

Mike,if you post his pics be ready for an appearance in court!! ;D

I would!!! It's your board, it's the photos he was paid for (not much, but he agreed to it at that point!), and it's public domain! I would put them up on my board (if I had one) and just wait for his "lawyer" and deputy sheriff Bix to come and serve me...........then I'd laugh real good. ;D

He`s really no worry to me, I just got fed up and figured I didn`t want his pics on my board anyway.

Wouldnt it be great thought to have the time and money just to take on people that try to bully you though. I can picture it now, Tim gets an email threatening to sue for copyright infringement, Tim responds with his attornys telephone number, address, and a smile. ;D

I think the fact the Robby threatens people and then the photos disappear (out of respect as YoungBlood said - not fear) it may be misinterpreted as the boards removing his photos because of intimidation. Not the case. And I no longer post photos out of respect for the BOARD OWNERS - no one else.

As for Larry Bixby and the others guys that no longer train and simply want to be Robby Robinson lackeys to still feel connected in some way to BB - they don't help Robby's already crumbling image.

Actually if you go to his website he answers each and every question himself and is very polite about it. Seems like a really nice guy, maybe it is just a photo thing?

All of this internet tomfoolery and ballyhoo makes me laugh. You would think a person's energy is better spent in the gym than "policing" internet chat boards. What a joke.

It's sad that such a legendary physique may crumble into nothing more than pieces of an ugly reputation. In my very limited experience with the man, he just doesn't seem to know any better. Maybe his forthcoming book will shed a little light on his motives/thoughts/actions. More likely - it will further muddy the pond.

Whatever.

I still enjoy his message center. He seems to have a genuine interest in sharing his BB experience and nutritional advice.

I agree BoYD! The board on it's own is a very great and generous thing for Robby to do! It's this other business that's ugly - I've seen some of the private Emails that have been sent - there are 2 sides to the man.

I think he had a great physique ,but it`s too bad he makes such an issue out of this nonsense, instead of wanting to share the old pics with his fans.......................if he has any left!!

Agreed, he has many fans and we could be exposing his physique to the younger generations however he is closing that door. He will be remembered for this rather than being remembered as a great bodybuilder.
