Ok...just got back from a nice relaxing weekend with the wife (again ), and I'm feeling kinda..."wirey", so I thought I would solicit some opinions:
We all lead a pretty healthy lifestyle. I tend to notice people who are both really cut (and hot), and those that are out of shape (and not!). Sometimes I tend to let my mouth engage before my brain (duh!) So...anyways.....
Do you tend to feel that way too? Regarding noticing others and their healthy or unhelathy lifestyles?
My wife tells me I'm mean, because I saw a person of some girth and jokingly said under my breath "Whoa, dude, back away from the buffet"! Once a person was walking backwards...and I started making beeping noises and said, "Watch out...she's backing up"! I know...mean, right?
Today on our way home, we stopped at Barnes & Noble bookstore. I wanted to pick up a reference on the Glycemic Index. I felt kind of bad for a lady (elderly, probably grandma), who was looking at books with her (VERY overweight) grandson (?) about diets (fad diets). I wanted to say, "Lady, what he needs is a gym and good nutrition...not that book".
So anyways, I guess I'm a mean guy....actually my hearts in the right place. I just hate to see people leading a lifestyle that is spiralling them into a world of health problems and early grave.
Perhaps it's like when you buy a certain type of car. Once YOU have it, you notice them EVERYWHERE!
With my luck, I'll keep healthy, live a long life......and get hit by a bus!
Sorry...just my fleeting thoughts of the day! Time to chase my grand kids around!
Have a great week! Keep the diet clean, and get your butts into the gym!
See-Ya!
