I've got the bad habit of munching at night, especially on things not supporting my goal, like...ahm...Suzie-Q's I know, get them out of the house, but my wife insists on buying them for our son. I've told them to hide them better, but I'll find them. So, I found some 3 carb protein bars, and bought a few boxes to keep handy. When I get that craving, I'm going to cut one bar in half, and hopefully satiate the craving. My weight is holding steady, but I want to nip-this-in-the-bud, before it affects my diet. I feel like I need a 12 step program for "bad food cravings"! (joking). Suggestions, ideas?

The protein bars are a good idea, kinda like using a nicotine patch to stop smoking! Once you get the sugar cravings out of your system it won't be so bad.

It's about 10:30 pm (Had to watch Dancing with the Stars Finale!) Although I've had a few cravings, I've not had to grab the protein bars ...yet. I have a pic of Branch Warren on my treadmill, and when I thought I was going to cave, I just glanced up there and thought that I'll never look like that, or reach my goals, if I keep caving in....fingers crossed.

It is tough at times, we all have our moments of weakness and temptation to say the least! You're right though, you just have to stop back up and visualize your goals and not give in!
