Man,I mentioned yesterday that I had spyware problems in the past ,and whammo..........................my computer was all screwed up today when I turned it on!! :Head Bash: It took me over 6 minutes to get to this board.........so I ran Ad-aware which took over 5 hours because my computer was running so slow!! I thought I`d never see you guy`s again!!   |

Layne,I`m on Windows 98,and it`s all cleared up now...................thank God,I was stressed out to the max! I ran the Ad-aware program and found 104 spyware items I deleted.  I had just ran this not too long ago and found only 6. In the past, this has really screwed up my PC, but since I got the programs to delete the spyware it`s helped immensely ,although it took over 5 hours to complete,I tried to run it earlier today, but I aborted it, thinking that the program wasn`t working as it took 3 hours...............so I wasted 8 hours just waiting! It has never taken anywhere near that long to run before. Tomorrow I`ll run an anti-virus and "Spyware Blaster" just to make sure I did a clean sweep!! Thanks!!  |

His computer's so old, I think he's running Spry Mosaic, LOL!!! T This thing is a hybrid of all differeent parts,and it is an oldie!!  I was recently given several newer computers from a friend of my wife`s, but with my short fuse, caused by my inept computer ability,I have postponed hooking up a new one for fear of creating a catabolic enviroment due to the stress involved!! :Head Bash: |

You should get Firefox better than IE it has pop up blockers and some other stuff i dont know if it works on windows 98

Thanks boom,I`ll definately look into it.
Right now I have the Google toolbar with the pop-up blocker and it works great!
