Thought you guys might like this one. This years awards at my show were plaques. Monday I took them and a pic of me doing most muscular and put them upstairs on a shelf. Told the kid working if the manager who kept me from displaying my swords last year had a problem with it to call me. He and I and Doc {the owner of the gym} would discuss it. LOL It is Wednesday and they are still there. FEELS GOOD

Perhaps he was afraid you would go "Braveheart" on him! LOL!
At my first gym, they have a place for trophies, but I do not leave mine there. I come in, show it to the owner, and he places it on the front desk with a sign from the gym saying "Congratulations", and how you placed. I leave it there for about a week or so, then bring it home.
We also have a wall for pics of past and present competitors. Mine and my wife's pics are on that wall!
Congrats again on your accomplishment! Very proud of you my friend!

Frank, I was thinking about bringing mine home today. Some people did not even know I did a show until they saw my awards. My gym is a joke, they do not support or acknowledge that I have done anything.Sunny gets out of college in Dec. Iam still planning on leaving present gym and going to the one I trained at some getting ready for the show. No bells and whistles just good equipment.

I understand Rog! We bounce between an "old school" gym, and a "pretty" gym. Old school doesn't use their air conditioning in the summer. Pretty gym has lots of figure competitors! Gotta have balance ya know! Keep up your training buddy! Looking good!

Roger,
Leave the awards at the gym for another 2 weeks. Enjoy your success. Doesn't matter if the gym understands. The members appreciate that you are a winner.
