I will "perform" next thursday at a strongman competition in the village next to my town.
It will be my first time and I'm quite thrilled. The experience just to get there was wonderful. I pushed myself farter then I tough possible to test my strengh. I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun.
Wish me luck.

Good Luck and have fun!!!
We have a 325 and 450 tire behind our gym. We also have two "rocks", one at 250 and the other about 350. All kinds of weird contraptions too! Did some truck pulls too...crazy stuff!
Let us know how you do!!!

I finished 12th out of 14. I'm really really proud. I pulled 2 pickups (12000 pounds) on 57 feet (the objective was to pull for 70 feet in 75 sec). I lifted 595 pounds for the farmer walk on 5 feet. I fliped 11 times a 550 pounds tire. Lifted 220 pounds at chest level (I never was able to do that before). And lifted an inch of a 2300 pounds car. I'm exausted but so happy at the same time. I know what to train to do better next year. Thanks for your support!

Wow Jehan, that's something! It seems that you enjoyed the experience... I'm happy for you! Setting goals like competing in this strongman competition is a great way to stay focused on your healthy lifestyle. It forces you in a good way to train hard, eat well and push your personal limits! PS: I once did the farmer walk when visiting Randy in Boston and I must say that I felt in love with this kind of strongman stuff!
