Well, this is the weekend for Bernie's FIRST Bench Nationals, and it's being held here in Cleveland. Spent most of the morning helping set up. I attached the link, and it looks like a great venue this time.
31 women and 187 men from all over th US, including an 89 year old gentlemen too!
One cool thing they did was made a change in the spectator entry fee. For $15.00...you get entry for both saturday and sunday, a meet t-shirt and 2 after party tickets at the Cadillac Ranch for both days. Not bad.
I think the odds are that Bernie will do very well in masters ( I think First Place) and expectate somewhere in the top 3 in the open. I'll post the results sunday.
Even though it's just downtown from us, I thought I would surprise Bernie and got a room for us at the venue hotel (Rennesance), so that she can relax and enjoy the weekend after she competes. I think she will also be running the computer program for scoring also.
