Been over a month. Seems like all I do these days is restart. Decided to do this one the smart way.

Whats the new plan of attack Rich? Well, I've been off and on for so long that something serious has to change for me to be ON again. One of the things I do every time I get into the gym is tell myself I will take it easy, but then I don't really, and I end up hurting more than is good. Which starts the cycle of skipping workouts again. So this time around I am going to keep it to full-body workouts and LIGHT weight, and NOT rep to failure. I'll do that for 5-6 weeks ... see how it feels, then phase in a 5 day split again. I left legs out of this last workout because I strained a ligament in my knee a week ago by - of all things - breakdancing. But the strain is not too bad and I'll be able to train legs again by next week. In the meantime, if I get my ass into the gym every other day, I'll be in the right mindset in no time. Mind first, then body. Then back to bodybuilder-style training. After all ... I want to do a show within the next 12 months ....

Good luck! It's hard not to go all out when you're back in the gym You're doing it the right way..start out slow
