Tim ! Sucks, don't it? Sorry to hear about your car. If it ain't one thing, it's another! My car has been acting a little funny too. I'm just waiting for the "other shoe to drop"! I don't mind the cold (too much). And, I don't mind being wet (too much). BUT..I cannot stand being cold and wet...at the same time Keep your head up Brother!

Sorry to hear, Tim. This has already been a super frustrating year for you.
Cars can be a pain. Had mine inspected in October and had to have some fixes made. Then renew the insurance, renew the license. Trying to figure if I can't afford to have one or to not have one. Whew you are, a car must be a necessity.
Hope things can turn around for you soon.

Your car was just giving you a sufficient warm-up for the gym, knowing that it was too cold for you to just walk right up to a 585lb squat bar with no blood in the muscles!

Tim, After reading what these guys wrote....I'm glad I wasn't there. My powerlifitng wife would have thrown a chain on it, and used it as a sled to warm up and pulled it to the gym! Of course, I would have stayed inside and steered the vehicle! Gotta think safety, ya know ?! ? !

Tim has updated his journal with a few workouts. Taking that as a good sign. Go, Tim!

Isn't it like that Tim!?!? We get so few moments of bliss...and they pass so quickly. Lots of foreplay and...well..you know! LOL! SO, you know what that tells me? CARPE DIEM BROTHER! Sieze the moment...and when you have it...live it to the utmost! That means our brief time in the gym is just as important. EVERY rep....EVERY Set.....EVERY step of cardio..... Don't just do it.....BREATHE it.....FEEL it....LIVE OUT OUT ...EVERY SINGLE TIME! ' Cause you know something brother? In spirit...you are never alone, because each and everyone of us is right there with you! Now...nothing else can be said................BRING IT!
