I usually don't post things like this but a dear friend of mine, ( best man at my wedding), is dying fom bladder cancer, and only has days left. He is a great person, and really touched alot of lives, and I was hoping you might include him in your prayers tonight. His name is Tom.

Amen, Keith. Will say a prayer and light a candle for him this weekend. Close friends are a 2nd family for me and for all of us, and I understand the pain.

I will certainly keep Tom in our prayers, and will include him in a prayer-chain I belong to also.
Strength comes to us in many ways my friend.

Just an update............
Tom can have no more visitors, only the immediate family can now see him as it is an any minute type of thing at this point. I was fortunate to catch him in a lucid moment, and was able to say goodbye and tell him what his friendship had meant to me.Very difficult...very sad. At least his suffering will now end and he'll be in a better place. I just went through this a little over a year ago with my father and now, again, with one of my closest friends. Makes you think about alot of things, and what truly matters in this life. A very humbling experience. Thank you to all who have included my friend in their prayers.

Keith,
It is rare in this life, that we have those moments to touch one anothers lives as you have with Tom and your Dad. Although the moment seems sad and difficult to understand right now, know that it are these times in our life that brings us meaning to what these dear people meant to us.
We cannot enjoy the sunshine without the rain my friend.
It feels like rain now....but Tom brings us the sunshine that lives in out hearts.
Try to find peace in the fact that he was a gift in your life and you are a better man to have been his friend.
He is not leaving you, but moving on in his journey...a better place....and a better time. You will see him again in a better way...and remember him often in the great things of this life....the sunny days, the butterflies....the smile of your loved ones.
Peace to you all.

I continue to pray for you and Tom, Keith. I lost 4 family members and a friend in an 11 month span, so I really sympathize with what you are going through.
It will get better eventually. Wounds become scars and the memories console us. God bless, brother.
