Well well, it's nice to be back on WOTW. My name is Jay and I have come here before numerous times, and then tended to vanish. My internet use is sporadic. I have made healthy a big priority to me now since I am older, and I plan on sticking around here for good.
I love this website for all the useful information and friendly folks who are geared towards natural lifting. Good, no nonsense information here.
An update for my end.. I'm 30 years old, getting married in July! I'm working two jobs, and enjoying life, although it is very busy!
I'm 5'8", 185lbs. It's hard to say what my BMI is, but I am trying to lose fat and trim up before the wedding. I'd say my BF% is around 20%.
I am using Fat Attack Reform diet supplement, a multivitamin, and protein powder. I'm trying to lose fat and get chiseled. I lift Monday, Weds, Friday, and do cardio 5-6 times a week. Here is my diet:
Meal 1
8 egg whites 1 yolk (scrambled with ketchup)
1/2 of oatmeal with water (plain oatmeal, no sweeteners)
1 piece of fruit (1 banana or apple)
Meal 2
1 can of tuna
1/2 cup brown rice (alternating with baked potato every other day)
1 cup raw brocolli
Meal 3
1 protein shake with water
1/2 cup almonds (unsalted)
Meal 4
8 oz. grilled chicken with BBQ sauce
1 cup raw brocolli
Meal 5
1 can of tuna
1 large salad with low cal dressing
Meal 6
protein shake mixed w/ 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
Only been on it a week, but I've lost a couple lbs. I want to substitute the canned tuna with something else. I know that the mercury level can be toxic. Any ideas?
Thanks for any critique, and it's good to be back!
