Training is going great! I have been hitting heavy squats and deads lately. I'm gonna keep this going until this time next year. Then I might start cutting some weight and see where I fall weight wise. Then I'll decide about competing in 2012. I gave thoughts of getting back into powerlifting. BUT I still have a certain show I want to win my weight class in. You know how those personal things go.  |

You are probably right, Frank. Hate to see this go, but I know I cannot be here as much as I'd like. And do not know about Tim. Last I heard he is OK, but has been incognito again!

Well Carl...Gerry...and anybody else "lurking" out there...
This is a great board, and I would hate to see it go.
Met a lot of great people here on the board and in person...to many to name-names.
Got a lot of great advice, and I hope shared some "words-of-wisdom" too.
But with few excpetions...this board is getting pretty stagnant looking at the log-in numbers and activity of members.
As you guys know, I will be competing in OldNavy's Pro Qualifier down in Alabama next weekend, then a few days later, my wife and I will fly to Denver for her 6th Nationals.
I'll try to give some updates when I get back, but unless this board rallies soon, I'm afraid I may move on also.
Will check in like the other "lurkers", but not sure of future activity. I've got your e-mail Gerry, Carl send me yours and I'll be in touch.
OK.....let's see what happens?!?!?

Hear you, Frank. The board will still be out there. As Admin, it would be up to Tim to pull the plug. And he ain't here to do that.
Let's see how it goes. Like you say, we stil have e mail to stay in touch.

It's so sad...
I mean, this board has been something really special in my life, something IMPORTANT. I've made friends here, learned about the sport and shared my passion with people who understood me cause they had the same crazy lifestyle... all that in total respect and with tons of good laughs!
Since 99% of the time of dont have access to the internet, I cannot be active on the forum myself... but if I could only be active on one single website, It would be on WOTW... that's for sure! I've never seen anything like this place...
If this place survive... no doubt, one day I'll be back on a regular basis!
Long life to WOTW!!!!!!!!

Looks like there are still a few of us die-hards left..... I hear what you're saying Gerry. I'm no "IT" guy, but I wonder if Tim could pass the torch to someone else to keep it going, if he's too busy now.
