July 2009 I said I was done competing. Since then I have been doing some serious lifting with no thoughts of competing any time soon. Well, I have decided to start training for Spring 2012!!! I made this video to keep me motivated and hope it helps motivate others as well. Now that the WOTW is back up and cruising what better place to get good vibes going!!!!

Thanks guys!!!! I have wanted to make a video like this for about a year. I'm glad it turned out well. It feels great to be back!!! I planned on taking a couple years to TRY and pack on some more size. In the back of my mind I'm hoping that I break into the lightweight class next year. If I wind up still in the bantam weight no big deal either. I'm just trying to become the best that I can be. I know all too well about coming in second and third. A 1st place in any weight class is the goal. I felt comfortable up on stage at the Masters Nationals a couple years ago. Just a little bit more size and a tad bit better conditioning (which we all have said we can always do better) I think I may be ready mentally to try that show again next year and break into the top 5.

The perfect way to think about it Carl........you only should be trying to improve on your last outing. Train to win,but ultimately train to be better than you were in your last show, this way you al;ways win even if you place dead last.
