Me and my Father went out today to help my brother out on a house, and afterwards went out to get something to eat. I remembered the Golden Corral chain, from when I lived in Florida, and we stopped there. It was Sunday and of course they were charging their dinner price for what is usually lunch time, and I don't blame them since Sunday is probably their busiest day. Anyway, they offered all the sirloin steak you could eat(for dinner and on Sunday's), along with their usual buffet(which included salmon and chicken(gotta take the skin off yourself, salad bar, etc.) for $8.99. Damn it looks like Vegas buffet's are coming to middle America. Don't know if this was a local promotion, didn't ask. Anyway if you can avoid the dessert, taco, and pizza bar, seems like a good deal, if you get tired of cooking. Posted below is their website, to find if there is a location near you. www.goldencorral.net/default.htm

We have that here in OK, along with Hometown Buffet.
If I can stay away from the baked goods island, I generally do OK. We also have local chain called Mackie McNears that does nothing but steak, chicken and fish, all grilled.
Much as I'd love to be a part of the Cali bodybuilding scene, there is no way I could afford it.
Intensity, 180 a week for food? YEEEEESH!

B There's another chain out there called Old Country Buffet, it's ok, but I was really surprised at the quality of steak at Golden Corral for the price. As for the Cali bodybuilding scene, 180 a week for food is nothing, how about $500,000 for a 1000 sq ft shack in LA. As you said, YEEEEESH!.

B haha! i still cant believe that we agree (voluntarily), as bodybuilder, to invest that much in food But like i try to explain to my non-bodybuilder friends... i chose to look great on the beach (2 month a years here in Montreal) rather than having a new car every years and send my kids (i dont have for now but) in the best school ;D As far as the buffet goes: i dont have any restaurant like that near my house. Oh and by the way... i ate my last off season meal last week: A Mcdonald's crispy chiken sandwich, big fries, coke... and to introduce that lunch... a box of 20 mc nuggets. (Should i tell you that i finished the double cheeseburger of my girlfriend after that Mo

Yep, my e-lifting bud, Greg Hibbet pays 1200 a month for a one room in Venice. Meanwhile, my house payments are 403.00 a month! Maybe when I retire or get tired enough of ice storms and tornados B

Steamed dim sum, spring rolls, steamed rice, stirfried chicken, beef, veggies, hot and sour soup. I always remember Louie Andersons routine "Why you no eat vegable? all you eat is meat! You go home now, you eat too much!!"
