OK growing up vertically challenged (5ft8in in a family 6ft2in Danes and Scots) I'm fine with my height and think most folks are too.
So why are so many of the heavywight Pros so sensitive the fudge their stats?
OK, I know Derrel's height. I see him in a pre-judging line up with some other well known men who are shorter than he.
But you look at their websites and SOME, not all, list themselves at a good 5 to six inches taller.
What gives?

Beats me, that doesn't make much sense. Shorter guys (at the same weight) look much, much more developed and larger... see that a lot on stage.

i find tim that some of the guys are claiming onstage weights of 230/240/250/260 yet when they stand next to someone a supposedly the same stats they dwarf them and I dont mean in just an illusion/density/leaness eyes playing tricks on us way.

I also use to not trust their claims regarding their wieghts, but then Mits started weighing people on his videos. On the BFTO 2003, the day after the O, cutler stepped on a scale at the gym and weighed like 265!!! Gunter weighed in a week out at 300lbs on his video. On the BFTO 1996 Nasser weighed in on his scale like 276lbs!!! But I will tell you what does suck. Having a 12 year old son who is already 5'4", and eagerly awaits the day, that he is taller then me (I'm 5'8")

LOL, you will be looking up to your son soon enough! If he is already 5'4", sounds like he will be a 6 footer!
But false stats are ridiculous. I go by what I see.

Hell, when I graduated HS I weighed 148 lbs! Probably one of the reasons why I workout, just to let him know who's boss! ;D I've got him by three inches and thirty five pounds, but probably not for long.

Bodyweights are exaggerated. I remember in a BFTO tape, I believe the first one (96?), Paul Dillet jumps on the scale at Golds Venice claiming he knows the exact weight. He jumps on, and sure enough he's one pound off claiming "Do I know my body or what?" Well, I bet Mits edited out the part where Paul jumped on the scale the first time, then reenacted it all! Anyway, I'm still not so sure how much I believe some of these guys' weights or heights. I don't really care about the latter, that's more of a Napolean complex. But the bodyweights irk me for some reason........ Not sure if I believe the weights shown on video, but I haven't seen the videos either, do they just show the scale number like the Dillet and Nasser in the BFTO tapes? WHo knows, the could have added a 45lb plate for good measure!!!
