Happy Easter everyone. You should be done with the morning Easter egg hunt by now. I hope you found all those eggs, because they can be real bad if you find them a few weeks later....wait what am I saying no self respecting body builder is going waste one of the most important foods on our menu for an old Easter hunt. You might as well ask us to go hide 5 lb. containers of our whey protein powder...LOL. That is why I am willing to bet that the inventor of the plastic Easter egg was a BB not wanting to part with his real eggs...LOL.
Well if you are done with the hunt, you are probably eyeing up that 1lb, chocolate Easter bunny in your basket. Now I will admit, we have been working pretty hard since the start of the new year, and a small reward is always something to look forward to and adds a little motivation to your plan, so go ahead and just eat the ears off, and no you cannot start at the feet and work your way to the ears...LOL.
Well, all fun aside, I have spent some time re-reading more of the great advice on the site. We all strive to grow in our training, even the true experts among us don't give up without a fight even when it comes to injuries, sickness and even aging. But sometimes our own extra efforts can be our biggest down fall. I found the post below from member gti steve for an article he found on Iron Addiction site. It really hits hard on the "smart lifting". I too think it is great for everyone, beginners can get started with the right mindset, and the pros out there can bring themselves back to the basics of what they know deep down inside.
Give it a read at the link below and put it to work for you, and again Happy Easter to everyone it truly is a special day.
