Just curious to know what everyone does when they are sick? Do you stick to the plan & just go easier, or do you take a break? Do you follow the schedule eating plan, or just eat "comfort foods" instead? What about cardio?

It really depends on the type and severity of the illness.

bump to bodyfx...don't be in the gym with something like the flu, because if i catch the flu from someone in the gym, i'm gonna have to kick some ass, ya know? keep that sh*t to yourself...if you just have like a cough and a scratchy throat, i'd think you'd be alright to do SOME sort of activity (maybe just cardio), but if you are gonna puke and you have a fever, take it easy...when i'm sick, i kind of eat for the sickness, honestly, but i make up for it the following week with restricted carbs...don't go eat a bunch of donuts though, and say that they are comforting...that's BS...i'm just saying, maybe have some soup (with lots of chicken) or macaroni and cheese (with lots of tuna) or something like that...things that aren't CLEAN, but can still have some small degree of placement within your diet...but be honest with yourself, and if you go overboard, then make up for it later...

If I'm offseason, I might have a bit of comfort foods but really that's not going to help you recover. Generally, not eating your proper nutrition, particularly while sick, is counterproductive. However, I've had an illness or two where I simply couldn't eat... in that case I'll eat a bowl of ice cream (say, if I had a sore throat) or whatever. I'm in total agreeance that, besides taking care of yourself, you shouldn't go spread it around the gym... unless lots of your direct competitors work out at the same gym T

like bodyfx said.. it really just depends on how bad it is..
But i like to at least stick with my diet..cardio and training can wait a day or two if it has too...
