Looking very good, maybe not as good in 96 (pre USA), but certainly the best he's looked being a pro!

the lighting is misleading...

the lighting is misleading... I don`t know Sock.........the lights are bright, which doesn`t hide much, plus he has no tan, and will look much better if his color is applied correctly.........the lighting does create a shadowy effect in the waist and leg area, but you can see his quad vascularity, and his waist still looks much tighter than usual. We`ll see how he compares come contest time !!

We`ll see how he compares come contest time !! the only thing that i ever want to see from titus is an improved chest, and the lights obscure that (do you remember the pics posted before the GNC last year? his chest looked GREAT, but come show time, it was shallow as usual)...his arms look great though, and i'm interested to see how he shows up

He does look great there, but like Sock and someone else mentioned, the Pre-GNC photo looked great last year too. Let's keep in mind what Tom Prince (the dickwad) has to say about photos of solo BBers: "Anyone can look great alone." BBing is about being compared, or at least a contest is, compared to others to see how well you place. Titus' chest looks good there, as it did pre-GNC, but maybe next to someone like Gustavo, Ronnie, Victor etc.....he'll look shallow and flat as usual? We'll see.......

He is getting better all the time, and I believe he works harder at it than almost any other pro. However, he will never look as good as he did as an amateur in the mid-90s at just 225 lbs.

I'm not a big fan of Craig Titus, but it's always great to see pre-contest pics of pro bodybuilder! Thanks!
PS: Very vascular, as usual!

is it me or do his calves look disproportionately small in that picture? Perhaps it's merely bad lighting.

No, it's not you Layne. Like most pros, calves are non-existant these days.

Weirdly enough,Titus` calves used to look very good!!
Maybe it`s just that pic or the angle or something. :Head Scratch: :Dunno:

I second the relative lack of calves point. Aside from his pecs, his calves have also been lagging in recent years.
Overall though, Craig seems to have put on some serious muscle.
