What do you all think about hiring a nutritionist? I was perusing Troponin's thread over at Mayhem, and it got me thinking. I mean, I know how to diet IN THEORY, but I honestly am not as in tune with my body chemistry as I would like to be. I've never actually successfullydieted down via bodybuilding methods before, believe it or not. So anyways, would it be worth the $150 to get some help from someone who really knew their sh*t, and who would be able to help a lot?
PS I mean, I know that it might be kind of unfair to do it (what with the contest and all), but I'd be willing to forfeit any prizes if anyone thought it was too much of a handicap.

It just may be well worth the money Sock, but remember, you are the one who has to adhere to the diet he recommends for you........if you do not do that, all the money in the world, for the best nutritionist in the world ain`t gonna` help you!!
I`m not saying you would deviate from his plan, but before you spend that kind of money, make sure that you will be 110% committed and willing to do whatever he recommends.
A lot of guy`s blame contest prep gurus for poor placings, but at times they didn`t follow the given advice.
All he can do is guide you,it`s you who makes the diet a sucess or failure.
That being said, the guy has a great track record from what I hear!

I'd say GO FOR IT, Sock! As Tim said, no diet guru in the world, no matter how knowledgeable, can make one actually stick to the diet & do the actual WORK it requires. That all comes from within. I wouldn't consider it an unfair advantage at all. YOU are still doing all the work. You'd better make up your mind SOON, though, cause' I'm coming on strong & building some momentum! Check out the last week of my journal...

Being that this is part of how I make my living, I have no choice but to highly recommend the use of nutritionists!
