Got about 7 inches last night in NYC.
They are very good about cleaning the streets right away, all the main roads were clear by 6 am this morning.

I wish these hillbillys were on the ball like in the city............... gotta` hit the iron soon, and the roads look bad. We are supposed to get 6-8 inches total on top of what we already have!

that sucks Tim. You could pull a Rocky and go running in the snow, chop down a tree and do walking lunges in the snow, run up a mountain and when you get to the top scream as loud as you can "DRAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
sorry, I got caught up in the moment.

It should be snowing here in Nebraska but it's been relatively warm (i.e. 40s) for the last couple of weeks. very strange.

Still a light snow coming down here just outside of Detroit; started about 11pm last night so there's about 6 inches of new stuff on the ground now. Actually, now that I think of it, I think it really started in early December... I hear you, Tim, these winters seem to last about 7 months. Can't wait to get down to Columbus this weekend where the forecast is... cold and snow! Bob

Snow? What's snow?
Up here in the lovely Pacific Northwest, we have endless balmy days, with sunshine and highs in the 60's, just perfect for breaking out those long-forgotten shorts and skimpy tank tops, and driving with the sunroof open!!
I hear California got all of our rain this year..........
;D

Are you serious...........that area reminds me of foggy/rainy London! Are you serious? Like I said, it seems that poor Cali is swamped with all of "our" rain this year, and we got "their" sunshine...... Seriously, it's been sunny, warm, & in the upper 50's to 60's all of February, with predictions for another nice weekend coming up this weekend......... We did get that ice storm one weekend back in January, I think, but we get very little snow here even in a normal year.......which is good, b/c no one here knows how to drive in it!!

Who says there's no Greenhouse effect? :Dunno: CA has gotten more rain this year, than I can ever remember. I'm on vacation, and want to start the restoration of my 67 Fastback!!! I think the rain will hold off for what I need to do at the moment. Anyone want to trade weather patterns? :Dunno:

One, two, three, all together: "I hate it here!" I hate winter anywhere. Got about 5 inches on Long Island and another couple inches possible for tomorrow. Sick of digging out and brushing/scraping the car!

Our winter started soooooo early this year but spring has definitely sprung here. Much of the snow has melted and the temp is hovering around +10 C (bout 50 F).
Though my shaved head still thinks it's a wee bit chilly.
