I don't own one either, don't want one and think the person who invented them should be shot. Seriously. There is absolutely no one I want to talk to while driving in my car, working out, standing in a line or whatever!!!!! Nor do I want to hear YOUR conversation while you're talking on your phone! Doesn't interest me at all! The rudest fu*king people I have ever seen are talking on a cell phone.

Interestingly enough, I hated cell phones, until I got one. Now it seems like such a necessity! I use to think people using them at the grocery store were silly. Now I'm one of them!! LOL But I would never take it to the gym.
But I gues thats why I train at home! I don't have to bother.

OK... well i AM a cell-phone user at the gym, however before I get slammed let me explain why and how it works.: 1. The ring is turned all the way down or on vibrate mode so it does not disturb anyone. 2. During gym time it's only used to coordinate daycare/child pickup with my wife. 3. I step away from any equipment I use to a quiet corner so I don't hold anyone up from using equipment. 4. conversation is kept to under 1 minute max (seriously)
I DO know the annoying types your talking about though- standing around and talking loud. Sitting on equipment - using it as a chair while they talk on the phone ha. Cell phone use is ok- but the etiquette is MUCH stricter in the gym.
