Marko is amazing. A couple of injuries have kept him from being an Olympia contender. But at 30 he is entering his prime and can still get there. The guy watching Marko in the photo is KP Ourama, who is a promoter and judge in Finland. Met him when he was invited to be a judge at NOC a few years ago.
I had the great privilege to meet Marko during a visit here and he is super human in every way. Have a t shirt and a book of his called Supermassa (Finnish ediiton). Not fluent in the language, but the photos are universal.
We stayed in touch for a while and he said it was good for him to practice his English. Would like to reconnect with him, know he had some computer problems and last I know was off line. He and his wife Johanna live near Helsinki, forgot the name of his village.
Hope he makes it back to competition. He is terrific.

What do you mean unfortunately, bro? If you can put up with me, I'll do the same!! LOL Marko would send chills down many a spine if he got back on stage in his prime size and condition. He last competed (far as I know) in 01 Pro Ironman. Even though not quite 100%, he made a good showing.
