Sorry to break it to you Max, but Ronnie didn't even write that. It was ghost written by someone else, probably Julian Schmidt. As for the BB curl being better or worse is for you and only you to decide. When do you do BB curls? First? When do you do Cable Curls? Last? Well, if you do cable curls last, that's why your feeling the burn, you've built up lactic acid throughout the previous exercises and so it seems that the cables are really more effective. Try to switch up your exercise order and see what happens. If you want to feel the BB curls more, try to slow the lowering portion down. Count to 4-5 while lowering and see if that helps any.

And that is something Ronnie has written about personally, the negative aspect that everyone forgets when lifting. I've started concentrating more on the negative and believe it has helped.
