I am so freakin` sore it`s not funny ! ;D
OUCH!!!!!!!!
Did legs on Monday, felt a little stiff on Tuesday with a bit of soreness in my adductors...........nothing unusual.
Today,my adductors were/are so damn sore,I had a hell of a time doing cardio.
Walking kinda` funny at home too!! LOL
I used the Adductor Machine that most people think just the ladies should use..........2 plates shy of the whole stack and I`m paying the price today.
Haven`t gone that heavy in a while.
Anybody else ever get DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) ,where you are sore the day after training, but extremely sore 2 days after training...............especially from a leg workout?

When I was doing legs one day a week I had a lot of problems with DOMS. When I switched to two days a week that seemed to go away. I use the adductor/abductor machine at my gym all the time. Usually get a couple of looks but what the heck. That machine pure kills me.

The worst i ever had was after a leg workout in jail, i ended up walking like a cross between robocop and a t-rex Can't remember the workout but i do remember trying to get off my bed to go get my breakfast the next day! I couldn't straighten my legs out or even put my feet flat on the floor!! I had to try and hobble on tip toes with my legs bent like a t-rex and balancing was tough ;D After a couple of steps i could slowly slightly straighten them (a little) and eventually get my feet flat on the floor!! Slightly overcooked my legs i think ;D ;D

With legs and triceps... soreness is always 2-3 days after the workout versus 1 day for the other muscles... Stange... ...but not as stange as the fact that our own Lux went to prison What have you done lux? Have you only forgoten to pay a 45$ no parking ticket ;D or is it more like an agression on your mother in law... which would be more comprehensive ;D Final words: Soreness, what a great feeling dont you agree?

I always am more sore two days after rather than the next day. Just the way I work i suppose. The other day, I tested myself on the squat with 225, and got twenty out of it. On rep 13 my arms lost all feeling. My legs did it no problem, probably could have gotten 245 for 20....but the next two days I expected to feel extremely sore....and nothing! WTF? My muscles seem to get DOMS the most when I'm doing 8-10 reps, no more, no less. Odd. But yes I get sore all the time!!!

I did 345 for 20 rep squats and sprained my wrist holding the bar so tight. It was sore. Does that count?

All my bodyparts are constantly sore with the exception of biceps, which rarely seem affected by my training............soreness wise anyway.
Weird, because on heavy days,I blast them hard!!

Mo, i was a real bad ass years ago. Between the ages of 21-25 i spent 3.5 years in prison. I would be up to all sorts of trouble but no danger to women or kids! Its been tempting to slap a few women i have met over the years tho I have worked so damn hard to turn my life around and i am so happy that i have done this. In the past 4 years my life has been tough but a thousand times better than i could have ever imagined! Sure theres lots of regrets but thats where i first got a taste for training. In the latter years of my incarceration i trained regular but didn't eat enough to compensate for my activity level. I would weight train 4 days a week, maybe 3-4 cardio sessions and even do a circuit training session. Cardio was like 30 mins running, 20 on the stepper and 10 mins on the bike. Talk about overkill!!!

Well said Tim!
Lux, you have to be strong and courageous to admit your mistakes and change things the way you did... i also respect that. You are on the right track now Lux (Very nice attitude, great physique and not too bad swimming habilities ;D ) and i'm very happy for you.

Thank you so so much guys . . . its means a hell of a lot Sorry to take things off topic here! I was involved in some bad stuff but i always had something about me, that people could see i wasn't rotten to the core! I have always had respect, not always displayed it but its been there. A bit cliched, but i honestly have helped the blind cross the road. Helped the aged and tried to do any good deed possible for anybody i could help. It hurts so bad that me and Eloise have had our recent breakup, as she has been alongside me throughout my transformation. And hell, i'm not too proud to admit i feel emotional when people praise me for what i have done. To me, i'm just me!

Lux. Glad to see that you turned things around. You are a good person and deserve good things in life. Keep that head up my bro.
Last week my tri's got sore!! I say this because my bi's and tri's never get sore. Lets see. I think it went like this:
Tricep push down 3 x 10 Superset W/ Dip 3 x 12
Next up was:
Overhead Cybex ext 3 x 10 SSW/ Bench dip 3 x 12-15
Cable rope pushdown 3 x 6-10, Drop x 6-10, Drop x 6-10
That did it.

Kudos on making the decision to change your lifestyle when you did. It sounds like you took advantage of your incarceration and made things better when you got out. We all go through a deviant period, some more than others.

Legs are by far the worst for DOMS! I train each bodypart once a week and take a recovery week every 8 weeks. When I come back to the gym after my week off I get super sore the second day and it seems to last for at least 3 days. I'm just glad to hear that I'm not alone in this! #bbenchpress4zy# Man these smilies are awesome!

Yeah, its crazy how sore legs get compared to the rest of the body. I might have to give that old adductor machine a whirl!

Lots of people think it`s just for women, but when you load the whole stack on that baby and squeeze out some tough reps,it`ll work the legs to death.
I usually finish off with a few sets, and it`s made a difference in my leg development .
