Hey guys- my head is about ready to burst I'm so excited about what's going on today: I walk in to my job today and it's the usual DULLNESS. I send a few emails back and forth to some buddies of mine. After just shootin' the sh*& about our lifts, what we're eating and stuff- this guy says "are you training for a show". Whether he thinks I look like I could be or it's because of what I'm lifting and eating is beside the point- the point is that the fact that I am at a level that someone thinks I could be training for a show is a HUGE boost to my motivation if you know what I mean. ;D Ok next: I got a lead on a new job, one that would mean some more money and a GREAT work environment and I had sent my resume there. I JUST got a call today and I'm interviewing on the 25th there. Obviously it's not in the bag yet but really has me excited at the prospects. Just had to share this with someone and you guys are my friends so you gotta be subjected to it! ha.

For me those days come far and few in between the not so good days. I also know to not keep my hopes up for too long, since with every peak there's a valley to soon follow.
Sorry, I'm in a pessimistic mood of late! ;D

Congrats Mike! But at the opposite, dont feel depressed if someday, someone ask you if you have ever trainned… because Ronnie Coleman once said that a women asked him this question during a beach photo shoot 1 day after his first Olympia victory! ;D

He said "Well you look like you do something- you must run or something"... I'm thinking "DO I LOOK LIKE A RUNNER? "

Good luck to you Mike on the interview. You are now officially at the "you don't look like the average guy" stage! I get the "hey, you must work out alot" remark from time to time, and my usual reply is "yeah, I do push ups, sit ups and chins twice a week!" Keith

I get both sides, sometimes in the same day! Last week a student of mine asked me if I am an athlete, because I "look ripped" (god bless him, even though he doesn't know what ripped means he just earned himself a 95% in my course ... ). That same night, a relative who I have not seen for about 9 months asked me "So are you still lifting weights?" Ouch.

Keith Hey Keith- lookin' at your avatar, I have a great idea. Pull your shirt up and show ur abs and just say - no I don't work out alot- just to the "ab-roller" that I bought on QVC 2 times a week for 15 minutes hahah!!!

Know what you mean man about the do you still lift thing. A boss at work asked me why do I eat the way I do and I told him that I was getting ready for a bodybuilding show. He replied with "don't you have to be big for that stuff" now that was an ouch! I sent him my profile page from another web site and he looked at it and said where do you hide all that. LOL
