Alright guys and gals., I have been here a lot lately just only commented here and there. BUT I thought to update you on whats going on. My diet and training since the thread I started a few months ago has been going awesome. I am real happy with the prep for my upcoming shows on March 24th the Northern Kentucky and on the 31st the Ohio show. Good job, and like Tim said, bring home the gold!!! #bbarbellsmiley4dr# Being a bantam weight that I am a comment like this makes it easier to get up there on stage. I really didn't expect all the gr8 feedback from everyone. It really is a definite confidence builder for me. Gold or not at least I already feel as I accomplished something, but I will be shooting for first.  I spoke to Roger and Sandy who are in charge of the show and said so far as they recall there should be about 10 competitors in my class which was a couple weeks ago. Should be a real big show and I am getting excited. one week away. |

Lookin solid Carl! You should do well in the Northern Ky. Roger and Sandy are great people! I've known them for over 20yrs.
I'd love to come see you in the show. It's about two hours north from where I live. A guy from my gym is competing in the Master's division. I'll have to see how things go this week.

Well I did the best I could, I looked the best I ever have and came out with a 4th place trophy. I wouldn't be so upset but it was out of 5.
I didnt get any pictures because I didn't have anyone there with me so I really cant compare. I sure thought I had the other guys beat but I guess my perception is WAY off. lol
I will try again this coming weekend. If I do well in th Ohio show I will still compete but if I don't I will then realize I will never achieve my dream of competing in a National show and most likely hang up the posing suit.
