I am committed to doing the OCB Nationals-The Yorton Cup- this weekend in the Wash. D.C. area. This is a Pro-Am event with a lot of high level athletes. There are no crossovers so I will be competing in the 50+ division only. I hope to present well and not to embarrass myself.
I look forward to meeting our very own Beckie.
Wish me luck.

You are a great athlete and I was honored to stand next to you on stage at the NGA Pro Am Master Pro 50+ Championship on September 8th.

Tim and WOTW Friends,
There is mandatory check-in tonight about an hour away from where I live. I finished seeing patients by 1:00 today so I would have time to do all the day before preps. No sooner than I get into the house than I get an emergency call from a pt who just fell down and broke off a front tooth. Back to the office and rewrite my timeline We all face these, so I thought I would share my "real world sometimes gets in the way" of bodybuilding story.
I believe at last count there were 6 in the 50+ division and about 120 total athletes. No crossovers allowed.
I am looking forward to meeting Beckie. I hope I can find her.
I will do my best to update.
Neal

My Good Friend, Neal Grossman, who will turn 60 in February, placed a great Second Place in the Men's Masters 50+ Class against five others. The Yorton Cup is the National competition for the Organization of Compeititvee Bodybuilders (OCB). Congratulations, Warrior. I look forward to you joining the Senior Circuit next year, where I'm sure you will dominate the 60+ Class in every contest you enter.

Hi Everyone,
I am still recovering from yesterday. Long day! As Tim posted, I placed 2nd in a competitive field of six in the 50+ division. The class was won by Charles Walker. Charles came in more conditioned than I have seen him before and he carries an envious amount of muscle. I have outplaced Charles previously, but yesterday was his day. I was too tired to wait around to see the scorecard or get after show judges' feedback. My ego would like to see a split decision, but I have no idea whether that is the case. My self critique is that my conditioning was just a hair off. Feedback from my posing mentor was that I forgot to pose my chest hard enough in several poses. Whether this would have made any difference in placement is a moot point. As soon as I get some pictures, I will post them.
Next and last competition of the year is the USBF Baltimore Natural Pro-Am on Nov 10th.

"...I forgot to pose my chest hard enough in several poses."
Thanks for the tip, Neal, I will use that information on stage next Saturday.
