**edited by Troyster** Some people say me and a friend should eat out once in awhile...at places such as Mickey D's. I can't believe them.... As Tim knows i'm a strict dieter like him...learned all about nutrition from this board. Mickey D..heh? Well i'm currently at 107-110lb .....i don't see the point in eating mickey d.....i don't even like mickey d's...i like baby back ribs... ;D

Personally, for me, no I don't. However, there are variances in how people react to certain foods. Further, it depends on total diet, what supplements they take and so on... Everyone's metabolism is slightly different... some metabolisms are REALLY fast and some are really slow...
There are some generally principles that apply to most people, but not to everyone.
Still, I wouldn't personally recommend incorporating McD's as a regular addition to one's diet. But that's just me.

There's a reason you weigh 107lbs.

I'm naturally a small guy, too. What's your point?
You're the one that brought this to a different board hoping that someone could back up your ideological ways of eating even though your size doesn't merit such a fickle diet.
Mcdonald's was only an example. The point remains the same. You will have a much harder time growing eating the way you do than if you lightened up a bit.

Well, I'm strict. I weigh 250 lbs. at the moment (offseason). Generally, I consider any processed or "fast" food as "junk food" and I don't eat it.
Don't take Max's post/question wrong. He's geniunely curious and there was no malice intended against anyone.
Merlin, he's clearly stated he eats junk food... so... what's up? Your tone does come across as a bit malicious. Did I miss something?

Max I'm guessing what they were saying (and what Merlin is pointing out) is simply what several of us said on here a little while ago - you have to eat to add size. Given that you dieted down to 86# it's not an unreasonable statement. At least you are moving in the right direction

ultimately, your body will be a reflection of what you put into it. Just remember that

My thoughts exactly Layne! I always used to tell people, that if you eat like the guy next door...you will look like the guy next door, and that`s not advisable...... unless you live next door to Ronnie Coleman!

Ok, I have been known to have the occasional #3 at Taco Bell. But I see nothing wrong with it if you limit yourself.
Cheat meals are ok but you can't get out of hand with it. Once a week max.

Personally, I dont touch it, I am lucky if I eat ten different foods in a week though, as for the less psychotic, i'd say its alright every now and then in the offseason if you are craving that, but I wouldnt have regularly scheduled visits to McD's as their food is not very beneficial to any bodybuilding goals.

it all boils down to what you are going for. If you just want to look good; then it's ok to cheat every so often. If you want to look really good; you had better limit yourself even more. Then if you want to compete. Well the way I see it is I never eat fast food, if I do then i'm just not working as hard as I can and they'll be someone else out there who will out work me.... I'll be damned if I let that happen It all depends on what your goals are... but don't be suprised if you don't get super shredded on McD's

The thing is that guys like Maximum et al are taking all their diet advice from guys that compete, which isn't necessary. You don't need to eat like you're going to be stepping on stage in one week if you weigh 110lbs.
