Steve,have a high carb/calorie day or two,then jump back on the diet.
Keep it clean,but eat more carbs,cals,and fats for the next 2 days.

IIRC.. it's tricking your body into thinking your diet is over and then BOOM your back to low carbs and your body will shift your metabolism to compensate. I think I got that right. Reminds me of the zig zag diet.

It does work, hoopie. You get glycogen depleted after 2-3 days of low carbs. Then you need a day of high carbs to replenish your glycogen stores. Taking in carbs at this time won't make you fat because you're just replenishing what you've lost. Is that pretty close Tim?
Yesterday I was so depleted I could barely train legs. Today I took in high carbs and equaled my best performance on incline presses!

Hopeing for tomorrow, however, have to wait to see what tomorrow brings when i get up...

Meals this evening just went to hell..I'm so pissed and irritated that i didnt get all my carbs in plus missing a meal that i could take this f'ing computer and launch it out the damn window. Wife come home and said we were taking the kids to chucky cheese for my sons b-day which put me in rush mode to get everything ready for work. so now im rushing around trying to get my stuff together and get a shower. I forgot things at home we get there and there is nothing i can eat and nowhere i can go to get something. Thats why the long gap between meals. I had a great time with the kids but she could have told me sooner so i could prepare...Oh well enough bit*hing...........

You guys are right on the money about the higher carb and calorie days.........replenishes glucose/glycogen,and kind of re-sets the metabolism geeting you back into a fat burning mode. Steve,you sound just like me....don`t sweat the small stuff.....sometimes life gets in the way of us eating at the proper time or getting in the proper foods. One day at a time....just jump back on the diet cycling your carbs again. I hate screwy days like the one you had,but unfortunatyely these things happen occasionally.......if they happened all the time,I`d have to kill someone!!! LOL Just always adhere as closely as possible to your gameplan...........one day or one meal,is not a biggie as long as they don`t become a regular thing,then you have to adjust things and get serious again. My rack deads went horribly wrong. Dont know why 3 weeks ago i get 435 for 3 this time 405 for only 1. Pissed to high hell and back. dropped to 365 did 2 sets like it was nothing went to 385 and missed. I DONT KNOW!! rest of the w/o was ok. Its been a sh*ty w/o week for me it seems like. Going to repeat power week next week. Some weights down some up a little. Feels like it has been a very unproductive week with my w/o's...
