Hoops down for the count today. Picked up a stomach virus last night that is kicking my arse. feel like hell. ended up having to leave work last night. Sorry to hear that, Hoops....hey, just think of it as a cutting aide! Keith

Yes i still watched what i ate even though i was sick and stuck to my diet. Feeling pretty good today. Going to try and hit arms today at the gym and some cardio.

Well arms got cancelled due to my step dad was rushed to the ER for a possible heart attack. everything came back negative so now they are leaning towards an inner ear infection. Came home to get kids off bus so i did some cardio while i was waiting.
treadmill 3.6mph 25 minutes 10% 3.0mph 5 minutes 4%(cool down) 275 cals burned
checking my weight tomorrow morning.....

Hoops,try training with way less rest in between sets,increase reps a bit,add on another 5-10 minutes to your cardio,go to zero carbs for 3 days,drink more water,and take a fiber supplement.
If this doesn`t help,you will have to decrease calories,if that doesn`t work,decrease cals along with all of the above suggestions,just keep protein high if you do all of the above in an effort to retain your muscle.

Interesting side note. I hoppped on the scale this morning.
Weight This a.m: 174.6
Down 2 lbs. I'm now thinking it was the supplement i was on ans yesterday was the first day off of it. Thinking it was causing me to retain water..I dont know. All i know is that i am 2 pounds lighter than yesterday.

Steve, as you know, bodyweight and energy level often fluctuate while dieting… so i believe we shouldnt worry too much or overreact (Changing everything!) after a bad day or two… usually things go bad to normal after a couple of days.
Glad everything is fine for your step father.
Stay intense in the gym… and disciplined in the kitchen!
