Incline Smith Bench: 295x15 RP
Upright Rows: 110x18 RP
RG Bench: 225x18 RP
CG Pulldowns: 200x18 RP
Partial Deads: 405x5 225x12
Another tough one today. Had a bad headache initially but it soon went away once I started lifting. During the deads, I felt some pain in my upper back (nerve injury revisited). That being said, I still managed to pump out 5 reps @ 405.

Nice numbers Canuck!
I don't see many people doing RG bench these days. I think I'll mix things up and give them a try next chest day. Not with 225 though!

It's a nice change from the ordinary. I've found that I'm going more and more "old school" in my training!! Must be a Hogtown thing.

20 min. walking on Treadmill (8 incline @ 4.5 mph) 10 min. HIIT on Cybex Eliptical 10 min. Hills Setting on Stair Master 5 min. HIIT on Treadmill
Total cals: 700
Hanging Leg Raises: 3 sets x max
Ab Bench Crunches (weighted): 3 sets x max
I am absolutely spent!!! The StairMaster did me in completely. ;D

ah yes.. HITT cardio.. works very well. I do that form time to time so I don't get bored when I do cardio.

Reverse Machine Curls: 110x18 RP
Leg Press Calves: 19 plates x 20 RP
Stiff Deads: 185x10 135x12
Leg Press: 19 plates x 18 12 plates x 20
A good workout once again. Had some difficulty with the stiff deads because of the upper back nerve. I my try using DBs next time around to see if there is any difference.

Decided to try a little Mike Mentzer Heavy Duty (as given to Dorian Yates) workout this week.
Worksets will only be listed.
Here we go!!!
April 16/07
Incl. Machine Press: 2 warm-up sets
DB Flyes: 55xfailure
Incl. Machine Press: 180xfailure
Machine Shoulder Press: 2 warm-up sets
Machine Lat Raises: 110xfailure
Machine Rear Delts: 140xfailure
Tricep Pushdowns: 2 warm-up sets
Tricep Extensions: 100x8
Weighted Dips: bodyweight + 45xfailure
Cardio: 10 min. Cybex Eliptical - Interval Hill Setting 10 min. Walking on Treadmill
Total Workout Time (excluding Cardio): 30 min.
This was a friggin tough workout!!! Not much different from my regular DC. Exercises were still performed at a cadence of 4 sec. in positive; 2 sec. in static; and 4 sec. in negative. Rests were kept to around 30 sec. I found the use of a second exercise per body part made some difference.
