hey guys... first time sitting up in a while. Went to the doctor yesterday. Not flu or strep... just a severe cold... and flirting with pneumonia according to the xrays. looks like i'm out a while longer.

Stayed home again today. Just as well- as contratcors are here demolishing one of the bathrooms. Breathing a little better but not a lot of energy.
Probably will try work tomorrow- and maybe the gym. Slowly getting the diet back in order too.

dont sweat it man. the weights will always be there. rest up and get back to 100% before hitting the gym.

Mine wasn't the flu... they did a swab test... just a bad chest cold... and that almost-pneumonia thing...
I'm headed back into the gym tonight for the first time in a week. I'm glad it's power week only because the rest between sets is longer. I know I'm going to be short of energy and breath but gotta start somewhere.

I was really starting to notice some improved leanness, vascularity, etc then the week's sick came on.
I think it's headed in the right direction but today is day 2 of "starting over". In the roughly 3 weeks, I'm down about 2.5lbs. So no problem. I'll keep the carb levels the same for a while and see how it goes.

Meltdown update:
Got back on this yesterday... 2 caps 3x daily I don't get flushed like a thermo often does... but within 20 minutes I do get a little shaky, the heart rushes a little. Doesn't last long.
I did get a sense that this was making a difference- perhaps just flushing water? Not sure.

Chris...... Dn't even worry about a little "down-time"....we all go through that. The absolute most important aspect of your training is consistency over time, in a long range sense.
