Too true, Keith, but, with a real-life job and it's interruptions etc... the challenge to truly be consistent is really hard sometimes... if you add in holidays, business travel, sickness, and many other little things, it can get a little frustrating.
But ever forward, right?

I hear you Chris.... I have been dealing with that and more at times for over 20 years now....just be as consistent as you can over the long run.......I know you have the heart for it.

But ever forward, right? So true Chris, we all have interuptions with our training some more than others. Its just like Keith said though its consistency over the long run that makes a difference. You have the heart for it though and you will succeed!

Sucked! My stamina still isn't there. Started OK then quickly gassed. Stretched the rest some but ran down fast. I'm taking the weekend off while I tile the bathroom.

It all boils downs to LIFE in general. sh*t happens but we all stick with our plans and keep on going. That's what makes us men of iron. LOL sometimes I crack myself up. Hang in there Chris and as they say in Arkansas GIT R DONE

Diet: Moderate carb day (175g) 7a 2 capsules Meltdown 730a 80g scottish oatmeal, 16oz skim milk, 9 egg whites 10a 7oz 93% lean ground beef Noon 2 capsules Meltdown 1230p 1.5c amaranth/quinoa, 6oz chicken breast 330p 6oz chicken breast, spinach w/balsamic/mustard and a little blue cheese 430p 3 fish oil caps 600p 2 capsules Meltdown 630p 1c amaranth/quinoa, 6oz chicken breast

I agree with you, there is always a good reason not to be consistent; work, friends, televison programs, business travels, flu, injuries… but everybody CAN do it, it all comes down to priorities. If we think about it, almost everyone would like to be in great shape, but who is MOTIVATED enough to do then big 3: be very intense in the gym, do huge sacrifices with food and to be consistent in both. So there is no secret, nothing (not time, not genetic, not anything) can stop us to at least be in very great shape if we are willing to do what it takes.
