Congrats on your interview and coverage in IRONMAN magazine Tim!! Got the issue on Saturday and ripped it open to see if you were in there, and sure enough, right next to an ad for DEPENDS, was your interview. Wonder why they put you next to THAT ad?
LOL!! But seriously, you deserve this to the highest degree and I hope that this leads to even more coverage for you. You are an inspiration to all of us.

AWESOME Tim, Figures Ironman is the only issue I did not get yet this month. I will have to definitly find one now. I know what a big deal it is, since it is one of my goals to acheive soon one day. CONGRATS! |

Thanks guys,it`s always been a dream/goal of mine to be featured in a magazine!! :Rocker Dude: Strangely enough,I`m not all that excited about it,although I realize it`s quite an honor/achievement for me..............I`m sure I`ll feel differently once I actually see the mag with my ugly mug in it!! ;D Just want to thank Ben Tatar of www.criticalbench.com , who was instrumental in getting it published,and of course editor Steve Holman......... for even considering my story!! Thanks Chris............I do get a bit tired of hearing it because,in essence all I did was wake up and smell the coffin...........literally.
While I could have wallowed in my depression and stayed in the bottle,I simply did what anyone with a brain would do.................self preservation.
It wasn`t easy,and I do regret my past problems, but there is nothing I can do to change the past........ gotta` just keep trying to forge ahead in life.
I do think about my boozing days on a daily basis, just so I don`t forget where I have been...............a place that was a living hell,and someplace I would never want to go back to again.
Sometimes I get complacent so I have to take a walk down memory lane,just as a reminder.
It makes me very grateful for who I am, and the things I have.......which isn`t much on both accounts,but I`ve done worse!
