Awesome work outs Karrie!! How do you manage with two young kids? At least mine are old enough that they can do stuff on their own when I'm too sore from my work outs (not that they do - lazy, lazy, lazy)

In the short term, yes, but in the long term probably not as Dad and I do a fair bit anyway...the competition season finishes soon so I'll be much freer in 3 weeks,Phew! I have a bIG list of questions for the surgeon...I am the QUEEN of questions!! LOL Questions are VERY important...there is not a wrong question when it comes to surgery!!!!! I am holding off on the prrs due to this class I am taking on Tues nights at my church...it goes through March so with my schedule all messed up I do not want to start a new program until things get back to normal for me.

Hope all is well and you have not hit another flare up! How do I do it with two little ones....well not that little my Dill Pickle-I call him-Dylan will be 3 in Jan and Alexa is 4 goes to kindergarten next school year...so they seem bigger to me....how do I do it...NO JOKE>>>IT IS CALLED....NEUROTIC!!!! My life is scheduled...very much...almost scary scheduled...and my husband keeps them while I work out and he goes at night a little before bedtime. I also am a crazy mom...not trying too my own horn or anything....I just have a ton of energy...two days in a row this week we went to the park...I dance, sing, read, play games, craft, color...I do not know where all the energy comes from but it is there.

Hey Karrie,Mum had her ortho appt yesterday and he said there is no need for surgery at this point because of the age related fraying of both the bicep and supraspinatus tendons..he said the rehab is not worth doing it for because it will be too long and not necessarily fix the problem. He gave her an inj of cortisone tho so she can get back to driving and doing a bit of housework...just have to wait and see how it takes... Tell me something..is aching normal post inj? For how long can she expect this? A few days?? THanks sweetie

I agree with the rehab point as well, although I would not rule it out completely as of yet. Yes, after an injection it is normal for the SITE to be tender for maybe a day or two after the injection. If it lasts longer than a few days I'd check with the doc's office but otherwise it should subside!
