Hello Karrie,
All that stress is tough, but temporary. You seem to be a very knowlegeable, and caring person, so you know that you can make it through these times, and that they WILL get better.
When things get tough, know you're not alone. There are 4 of your there and you will support one another.
If you feel you need to go to the gym...go. If you feel you need a break...take one...then come back stronger.
There is always a Being bigger and greater than all of us who will see you through it all. Have faith.

I do have faith and believe in the Big Man upstairs...very involved in my church BUT it helps hearing it from someone else, so thank you!!! This week is 110% better then last week. My SUV was only 42.00 to fix, and I get to work out tomorrow night!!! Cardio tonight was unable to get it in last night!!!!

I know what you mean. We wanted to squeeze in some cardio last night too, but it just got too late. Balancing all that we do gets stressful enough, without getting unexpected stuff thrown at you. I have 2 kids ( 24 and 27) and 3 grandchildren (8,5 and 2). Mix that with job, wife, ministry, and this lifestyle in the gym, and it is a challenge. But WE can handle it. Glad your feeling better and that the $ damages were minimal for the car. Take each day as it comes at you, and strive to do the best with it that you can. We're all kind of in this together....brothers and sisters in Iron!

I so glad things are looking better Enjoy your cardio, I'll be thinking about you, wishing I was right there beside you burning the calories. Connor has a football game today, so far they are 2-0-0. Just waiting for Nick to get out of school and then will go to cheer them on #smileycheeleader9un#

Thanks everyone....things are easing up a bit!!! It takes alot for me, usually to get me down BUT things are looking up and my life, for myself, is going well.
Tonight legs and arms...calves and abs...no cardio!!!

Last night legs and arms and I am VERY sore today!!! I LOVE IT!!!
Legs: super set squats-80/walking lunges-50 for 3 sets of ten each.
Bi's: hammer curls: 35lb db's: 8x8, up to 40x6 incline curls: 20lb db's: 8x8x6
Tri's: CG press: 708x8x8 push downs: 45x10; 50x8x8
Finally back to some really great wo's!!!! Tonight taking the kids to a surprise b-day party for a friend...tomorrow church, wo and hopefully a hike!!!

Don't ya just LOVE leg supersets?? WTG Miss Karrie!! I have to tell you they have grown on me!!!! I really enjoy them now!!! I did not wo yesterday, I am taking the week off weights to give my body a much needed break but I am gonna continue with my cardio 4 days this week!!!! Thanks Beckie!!

Cardio last night 25 min!!! Great session!!!!
Crazy day today..but I like days like this....took the kids to story time at the local library b/c the fire fighter's were there and they told the story and went over fire safety. The kids got little red helmets and stickers!!! Alexa kept telling me all day she was gonna "Save me and get the fire hose!!" I was crackin' up!!! Dylan was making siren noises!!! Then I kept my 13 mth old nephew for a few hours (there is a reason why we only have 2 children and not 3-sheesh!), made dinner and took to my pastor and his wife(it is pastor appreciation month), and now getting ready to go to my class tonight!!!! But I had a great day with the kids!!! I LOVE my Tuesdays off!!!!
Tomorrow night cardio!!!

Fire fighter Dave was your typical middle aged, big around the waist guy. Nothing special...very nice...but not a cutie. Sorry!!!! How is mom doing lately??? What are your plans coming up...are still aiming for a comp in May??

Isn't it funny, you see the calenders with all these cute, hot fire fighters, but I have never seen one that comes close to even OK in real life Enjoy your week rest Karrie, you have been working hard the it will do you good. Do enough cardio for the both of us

Mum is good,she is doing exactly what the ortho says and the pain is not quite so bad... I'm not sure about the comp in May,it may just be a bit expensive trying to do that and my trip in October!

Glad to hear mom is doing better!! If you cannot do a comp in May that is ok, there are always other to do down the road.
Last night cardio for 25 min. Tonight last night of cardio for the week and I gave in, I am working out tomorrow. A light full body wo as next week is a little crazy and I am not sure where I am going to get it in.

I had to go to the doctor yesterday,my tummy bug was not getting better He gave me erythromycin and said it was probably bacterial-not nice!! have a nice weekend TGIF(here anyway!!)
