No cell, I believe the phone number given to me is the home. I know he works 2nd shift. But with the holidays he may just be busy. I am just sooo neurotic.

No Karrie, your being practical. I'm always upright and honest with any trainers I've worked with. I tell them from the beginning: I'm a pain in the butt to work with, becuase I will hound you constantly. I expect feed back quickly. I expect you to have my best interest in mind to meet my goals. Etc, etc. If what wer're doing is NOT meeting my goals, and you are inhibiting my progress, I'll fire you in a heart beat! BUT If you can get me to the next level, and help me become the beast I want to be.....I will be forever greatfull. Then I ask them, "Are YOU up the challenge?" I'm looking at working with a new trainer after the first of the year. He's a successful NPC competitor in my same weight class. He walks the walk, and talks the talk. He works out at my gym. His training attitude is very hardcore, and I like that. He is an NPC Judge, and has judged me at two contests. I sent him a 2 page list of questions that I want to discuss at our first meeting. He'll think: This guys nuts! This guys too much of a pain to work with. or This guy is so dedicated, I'd love to see what WE could do together! We'll see......

Frank, Thanks for all the above info about your standards for a trainer. Important to let them know what you expect. I hope he works out for you.
Tonight chest/bench at home. Fri legs.

I'm like Frank Karrie,I have a list of standards for a potential trainer,so I guess being one myself makes me EXTRA fussy! Hope you can get a hold of this guy before the holidays.

Nice Bench there Karrie! 10 sets of anything is tuff!
Your Pec's have to be coming along nicely.
Since my wife's Gastric Bypass surgery, she pretty much lost most of her "bustline", But since she has been benching, her Pec's are developing nicely and providing a good lift to her chest.
I know it makes her feel a little better, and she is certanly getting much stronger too.
You keep hitting it girl! Can't wait to see you on the powerlifting circuit! You'll blow some records away!
Go Karrie....Go Karrie............Go Karrie !!!!!!

Thanks Frank! Actually my pecs are already pretty decent since I have been training for years, but they can always use more "lift." ;D
Ok, I am VERY sick, I had to go to the doc yesterday so I am taking the rest of the week off and then I am doing basic training routines next week and then I am not going back to Powerlifting until the following week. I need to be as close to 100%. I called off work today and I have the kids at the sitters so I can rest. YUCK!! But I am feeling a little better, thank goodness!!!

LOL!!! But I am glad I am taking the week off to get in some rest time and slowly get back into it next week.

I have been going STIR crazy this past week not working out!!! I did go today and it was a not so great one. I did back, bi's and calves and of course cardio. IT WAS VERY HARD TO GET THROUGH THE WO!!!! I have pleurisy, inflammation of the lining of the lungs. I had it last year when I was very sick so now whenever I get a cold I have a 50/50 chance of it coming back. It takes about 6-8 weeks for the lungs to go back to normal as long as I do not catch any more colds in that time frame. So it was VERY HARD TO BREATHE....cardio was ROUGH...but each wo it will get better.

Glad you're feeling better Karrie! Trainers can be a pain in the butt sometimes. Someone once told me that a trainer can be the best "angel" or the worst "demon" to have. Choose carefully Keep lifting baby!
