There must be another trainer in your area Karrie-you have tried long enough on this one so time for Plan B...someone more reliable!! Terry even tried to call the guy for me too!!!! ::)Terry knows a bit so next week when I get back on track he will have me figure out what my max weight on bench, squat and deadlift. Kind of confusing but when I post it next week you will understand it!!!!!! Today I had an AWESOME WO!!!! #bconfetti2sq# Legs and arms: Superset leg ext 3 sets of 8 with 80lbs: leg press 3 sets of 6 with 270 superset seated leg curls 3 sets of 8 with 70; lying leg curls 70 for 3 sets of 8~~~~~~~I am gonna be sore tomorrow!!!!! Bi's: BB curls 50x8x8x6 hammer curls: 25x10; 30x8x8 incline curls: 20x8x6x6 Tri's: 2 arm over head ext 30x8x8x8 kick backs: 20lb db: 8x6x6 push downs: 45x6x6x5 Cardio only 22 min, my lungs were hurting, but the good thing is that I did 4.2 for 22 min...last week I was only doing 4.0 for barely 20...............SOOOO the lungs are getting better!!!!!!! #smileygrouplaugh5js#

well at least you'll be able to determine your 1 RM's Karrie-I think Brock is doing the same thing too... Excellent w/o's too-you are building some nice strength-endurance! (what rest periods have you been using between sets?)

Karrie!
You go girl!
Come backs after an illness can be tough...but we know you can do it!
Do what your body tells you you can do. If you get tired, rest. If you're feeling "froggy"...kick it up!
You'll be back and setting new goals and PR's in no time!

Glad to hear you are on the mend. Work outs are looking great and here's to hoping you get things sorted out with a trainer soon.

I had met a guy I wanted to train with. Won a few NPC Shows. Was a judge at two of my shows. He came "TO ME" to ask if he could train me. We both have the same "mind-set" and motivation. I was really looking forward to working with him.
He hasn't returned any of my e-mails, and he hasn't been in the gym since November.
Karrie I can totally relate with the trainer thing you're going through!
I think that, well as of today anyways, the best trainer I have right now is ME, and advice from ya'll here at WOTW! ;D

(what rest periods have you been using between sets?) I am resting 3 min in between sets, which is HUGE for me. It has helped me slow down and FOCUS on form and the weight!!! I am finding this is essential in the power lifting world!!! I picture the form and the movement in my head before I carry out the rep!!!! I cannot wait to find my max next week!!!!! ;D

awesome Karrie-i've just been catching up on my journal reading and 3 mins sounds pretty good to me-some people lifting sub max or even max need 5 mins between sets! You must be pretty fit! Hows the eating going?

Mmmmmmm carbs, I have cut back big time starting this week to try to get my weight/bf% back on track. I made banana oatmeal muffins for the boys this morning and there were six left. They were calling my name to try to tempt me so I gave them to the guys working on my siding. Your work outs are very strong Missy!!!!! You are my INSPIRATION, I live through your workouts until I can return to the gym so keep the posts coming ;D
