I love it. I posted elsewhere here, but I do kind of a hybrid of the cut diet and the Beverly Nutrition diet. Both basically confine your carbs to fibrous vegetables with a couple "re-feeds" during the week and get your body used to burning good fats for energy, thereby burning your fat stores for energy. I've carb cycled, cut carbs etc before with good results, but with this type of diet (cut diet) my energy has remained up and I seriously think I've built muscle while shedding fat. As an example, I have lost no strength in my lifting, I'm still setting personal bests in some lifts, and I'm less than 2 weeks out from a show. I think I look better now than I ever have as well. I highly recommend the diet.

I ordered a couple of the Primaforce backbone stacks and it came with a bound copy of the updated Cut Diet...
Most of it is pretty basic, been seen before... sorta a ckd approach.
But I have to say I'm not sure I buy into the "eat this food first" order of eating... and I'm a little skeptical of the never eat protein/carbs together thing. But then I must remember that this is aimed at prepping for a show.
Bob? Did you foolow all of that? The specific order in which you eat, never cobime pro/carb, etc?
I believe I have now officially seen pros endorse every possible combination of macro and eating and claim it is the best. #smileydunno9gx#

Bob,what show are you doing.......I`m less than 2 weeks out also.
I tried the CKD diet Eric recommended, and I got great results...............just recently added more carbs because I had plenty of time between contests.

Tim, The OCB Pacific Northwest States in Oregon. Remember, I'm a West-Coaster so all my shows will be out this way. The following week I'm doing the ABA/INBA Mr. Millenium in Reno (with my wife competing for the first time in bodybuilding!) I have a couple planned for late July and then one in September in Phoenix.
fit, I did the food timing re-feed once, but don't really agree with it; what I remember about the GI tract in medical school doesn't really fit with their theory. I do, however, do the carb re-feeds twice a week. No, I don't follow it exactly, but I like the concept behind it. Yes, not a whole lot different than the CKD diet; I think the folks at Beverly Nutrition started using this type of diet many years ago and have had great success with it. You can check out Beverly Nutritions web sit (and message board) for more info on it.

Am I misunderstanding drop sets in how they explain them in this routine when they say: "Standing Barbell Curls - 3 sets 8-10 reps with a dropset on last set to total 25-30 reps".
I normally think of drop sets as starting quite heavy, just a couple of reps, stripping weight and moving down, etc.
The way they say it, do they mean use a weight where the third set will be difficult to get 8-10, then drop and rep from there to 25-30 reps? So the set/reps would be
8-10/8-10/25-30?
