Great workout Terry...I like how you mixed calves into the Super-Set and Tri-Sets!! #bowdown3ht# Thanks Tim. This is something new I've been trying. I'm hitting calves a couple times a week, and since I like supersets, I figured this would be the best (and most time efficient) method. Terry,back in the day,a guy would do what they called "Staggered Sets:,meaning that he would train a smaller bodypart like calves,neck,abs ,or forearms staggered in between sets of other bodyparts.......kind of like what you did. He might do a set of benches,then calves,some inclines,with calves,move on to flyes with more calves instead of resting. This way you save time,and those bodyparts aren`t too demanding and are far enough away from the main bodypart,in this case being chest,that they really wouldn`t effect the chest workout which was the main priority. YB has done them like this before if I recall correctly. OK,I`m done!! #smileyonsoapbox4jy# ;D

Don`t we all?? It`s a good thing however to never be satisfied !! My philosophy has always been to push harder today than yesterday and never settle for less than your best. Sounds corny but it's something that has driven me over the last 10 years.

Superset #2 a) Seated Leg Curls: 120xmax 120xmax 120xmax
b) Standing Calf Raises: 215xmax 215xmax 215xmax
A pretty good workout today. Total gym time: 70 min.
No Cardio today.

Thanks Tim. Today was a very tough one. I didn't have a spotter and the last set of sqauats was brutal. Had a hard time getting up and had to drop the weight (literally). Friggin thing just dropped on - bounced off the back of my head though. I got a couple of nice bumps (along with a headache) as a trophy of my stupidity.
