I was planning for September. Looking at the guys at the gym, I do look quite a bit bigger and more defined (especially in the delts, pecs, calves)...But....I received an email earlier this week that the show may be cancelled. In my prep, I've kept a really clean diet, dropped the bf, and have increased my strength. If this is the case, my only worry is for those weights!!! ;D

I'll do my best Randy. Unfortunately, most of the shows around here are slowing down now. I think the next one might be in November.

I'm still here Randy. Just getting things done at home!! As for the contest, depending on the weekend, I have my cousins wedding to attend. We haven't received the invite yet but I'll know within the next couple of weeks. Until then, I'm planning to try this competition. Problem is, I need to go to a level 1 and there are only level 3 contests at the moment!! #bheadbangsmiley7rd#

Well I finally got myself back into the gym. The virus is completely gone and I felt great. So, here we go!!
Aug. 14/06
CHEST/DELTS/CARDIO[/b]
Flat BB Press: 135x15 225x12 225x10
Elite Incline Press: 25x25 25x25 25x25 25x25
Incline DB Flyes: 35xfailure (around 20 reps) 35xfailure 35xfailure
Seated DB Press: 35xfailure (around 25 reps)
Seated Machine Shoulder Press: 80xfailure (around 15 reps)
Seated Lat Raises: 20xfailure (around 15 reps)
Cardio: 20 minutes - Cybex Eliptical Level 25 @ 5 incline Total cals: 350
Total gym time: 55 min.
A pretty good workout today. Thought I would experiment with a workout I found in the "Animal Manual". It looked interesting (especially with the lighter weights and higher reps). I'll give it a try for the next couple of weeks and see how I like it.

Though I plan on sticking with the Animal Routine above for a bit, knowing me, I'll probably be moving onto a different split. The current routine I've been using for about the last year has been CHEST/BICEPS, LEGS, BACK/TRAPS, and DELTS/TRICEPS. Though I'm constantly changing things up every couple of weeks, I think I could use a different routine. Something like Chest, Legs, Delts, Back, and Arms? Not too sure yet. I am looking at going with higher reps (12-25) and lighter weights. Any thoughts?

Randy, any thoughts on the split? I'm shooting for either a 4 or 5 day split.

I really like the one(My old split) you were using, but get better results from
1)Chest, Delts Tris 2)Back, Traps, Rear delts, Bis 3)Legs
But training 4-5 days per week

I am getting even better results just doing DC... I've tried DC a couple of times and both times I found that it just didn't do it for me. It doesnt do anything for anyone after a couple times. It takes alot of time put in to reap the rewards. Its pretty much fool proof. The results are inevitable realy. Lift more and more weight over time and grow bigger and stronger. You will not feel anything like a regular workout in eights need to be demolished first. Not try to sell it to you "T". Just claring it up a bit. I thought the same thing the first two times I tried it.
