Let me clarify. What I meant by a couple of times is over the duration of 2 years, I tried DC for about 1 month at 2 different times. Looking back at my old journals, I think my problem was that I over trained. It may be something to look at again.

I did some homework and am quite impressed with DC. I think it's something I would like to try! I'll read up a little more and set a routine that I like. Any advices you can give would be appreciated Randy.

Okay, after doing some extensive reading, I've decided the following DC split would best suit me:
Day 1 - chest, shoulders, triceps
Day 2 - biceps, forearms, back width, back thickness
Day 3 - calves, hams, quads
Any thoughts?

It is not optimal. Stick to the 2 way split, as hard as it is... It is optimal. The 3 way is for those that have peaked out.

So let's look at this plan instead: Day 1 - chest, shoulders, triceps, back width, back thickness Day 2 - biceps, forearms, calves, hams, quads I think you're right Randy. This one looks better. It gives me a day off in between workouts which allows me to work on cardio and abs.

You have to get used to things being in a different order. "T" it is VERY different. Dont egt discouraged at first. Takes time and patience I think you're right Randy. This one looks better. It gives me a day off in between workouts which allows me to work on cardio and abs.

Also. It is very hard while dieting. So I dont know how lean you are trying to get and how quickly you plan to do it, but keep some good cals in there..
