Tim today is back day for me... don't know if I can go now... I'm feeling totally wiped out after reading that intense back blast of urs. AWESOME.

Thanx Mike.....lately I`ve been trying to up the intensity while still going as heavy and as fast as possible under the circumstances.
I`m sure you`ll train your ass off in the gym as usual.

Mon. Jan. 29th.
Taking a well deserved light week where I`ll rest less between sets and use intensity techniques with lower poundages.
Been pounding the body pretty hard and heavy for weeks now,so this is my form of periodization for at least a week.
Quads, Calves,Posterior Chain:
Quads:
Pre-Exhaust Super-Set: {Leg Extensions: 50-15 70-12 90-10 70-12 70-10 {Lying Leg Sled: 6pl.-15 8pl.-12 10pl.-12 12pl.-10 9pl.-12
Adductor Machine: 90-20 130-15 150-12
Abductor Machine: 70-20 90-15
That`s it.......15 quick sets with lots of reps, and my legs were pumped to the max!!
Posterior Chain: Reverse Hyperextensions: 25-15 70-15 100-12 130-10 100-12 75-12 45-15 Hadn`t done these in quite some time due to not having access to the back room where the machine is kept....stayed light because of this.......great exercise!!
Calves: Standing Calf Raise: 185-25 plus half reps to failure 225-20 plus half reps to failure 315-15 plus half reps to failure 225-failure,plus half reps to failure 225-failure,plus half reps to failure
Leg Press Calf Extensions: 2pl.-failure,plus half reps to failure 3pl.-failure,plus half reps to failure 4pl.-failure,plus half reps to failure 4pl.-failure,plus half reps to failure 3pl.-failure,plus half reps to failure

What was hurt and how are you doing now?

Joe,I hurt my shoulder doing weighted dips, a while back but it is almost 100 % again. Also,my knees are killing me,but improving,as well as a strained wrist which seems to be getting better also. My back has been a problem but it too is much better but I have to be careful. All in all,nothing too serious,thank God,just enough to be a pain and cause me to at times,work around the inujuries.

It's good to hear your injuries are not really serious… I know 2007 is your year… and injuries wont stop you to succed!!!
