It's like that every year, but it still amazes me to see how much faster my metabolism gets after a show! My carbs are now up to an average of 230g a day (versus approx 150g before the show), and I'm having a hard time maintaining my bodywight! In a way, it's a very good thing, but in another it's sometimes hard to guess how much food I need! For example, I was in Providence last week end to help my training partner for a competition and just because I had to walk all day and help with the tan, the pump and stuff like that, I got completely depleted! :-) I know it sounds strange... but it's a fact, I truly need a lot more food than before the April 26th contest! By the way, Fernand did very good! He was in the shape of his life at the age of 65... (did I say 65? YES 65 Y/O!!!)... and placed 1st in the over 50 class. Although he was the only competitor in the class, I know he would have done very well against some 50 y/o young bucks :-) 195lbs tonight... I'm gonna have some more carbs I think :-) so see you after the oatmeal... :-) Exactly how it works. You should be able to eat right up to your next contest and get even tighter. This is why you carb cycle on a diet like you just got done doing. A diet that is continually high in fats and low in carbs isn't going to do this. Your diet was a text book example. Good luck at your next contest. Agreed, I went though the exact same scenario last year in between my contests. Its almost like you can eat all you want as long as its "clean" food. Good going Mo! You're just going to keep improving!

For this 400g of carbs to be heaven, it would have to include some cereals bowls

Anyway, I needed it... had a sore throat and was feeling weak! Would even say that I had one of the worst Chest workout of my life on that day!
**Did an hour of Karting on May 24th, and I'm telling you, this stuff is DEMANDING! Your arms and even the whole body is always contracted! I had to double the amount of oatmeal for the day Seriously, this fun activity could in my opinion almost be considered as a sport because believe me, my arms were pumped after that!
*** Received an awesome compliment yesterday at the Karting arena "Wow, you are in great shape, you must be a runner or a swimmer, don't you?" Hehe! Objective: June 14th - Fame World in Toronto
