Yesterday I had to dig a small hole and I hurt my lower back again!! It`s weird,I hardly exerted myself at all and felt nothing until after the fact. I`m back in the gym tomorrow after a week off and I`m starting bodyfx`s routine and now this.......just what I DIDN`T need! :Head Bash: I`ll have to play it by ear as to whether I can squat or row,etc.........oh well sh*t happens, sometimes too often but I`m a master at training around injuries. I don`t know why I posted this.....I guess I feel sorry for myself!! ;D :Violin:

Speaking of injuries, my training has been inconsistant at best the past few months. Well one day while using the 120's (dumbells) they slipped out of my hand, so I dropped them. Now its feels as if I dislocated my thumb. Not at the joint but further down along the wrist. Everytime I wiggle my thumb you hear a pop! Oh well, thanks to Inzer's wrist wraps I can still lift. Thats all that matters. ;D

I`ve had this quite a few times in the past Steve,I know I`ll be able to train,I`ll just have to avoid some exercises. The weird thing is,after all my years training ,I have always hurt myself while out of the gym,for the most part ,and I train heavy.....for me anyway.

That sucks, Tim, back pain is no fun. I hope that feels better for you soon. Good to know you can train around it. I too usually injure myself outside of the gym, since I'm such a klutz. My latest is a few weeks ago when I ran into the vacuum cleaner with my foot, and my next-to-last toe got slammed. It swelled up and turned a lovely purple.......but guess what? It STILL hurts now on the top of the toe when I wear tennis shoes, so I guess it's slightly broken?

I sympathize....in my drinking days I once kicked a 350 pound woman in the ass while barefooted.....can`t bend my toe to this day. Don`t ask about why I kicked her...........it makes sense, but only if you`re drunk out of your mind!! My back is way worse than it was yesterday......hope I can train hard, thanks hun!!

Ski, are a tough SOB so I am sure the pain will go away if you work around it as you've done in the past. Good luck my man. Anywys, I thought you were like Jay Cutler and that your only physical activity was at the gym and in the bedroom, the rest wife will take care of. LOL, J/K of course.

Thanks LC...I`ve had this a few times in the past and it usually goes away after a time, trouble is, I keep training instead of resting it,but I just took a whole week off and can`t afford to do it again.
I know I`ll be OK in time,it just pisses me off!

He says he was digging a hole? I'm wondering if that hole was on this board, another board, or just in a general sense of digging holes in life. Kind of like painting yourself into a corner..... :Happy Spinner:

LC,as I said,I`m pretty good at working around injuries, but if I feel the need to rest,I definately will.....better to be in for the long haul than to make it worse...thanks!! YB,I was digging a small hole for one of our cats who died...........lot`s of roots and big rocks but felt nothing until I got in the house.
